2020 was not only a year of Covid-19, but also a year of solidarity, because a huge effort has been made by healthcare workers, families, friends and volunteers to curb the epidemic, screen, and care for patients.
A symbol of gratitude has been placed in Batthyány Square, which is displayed in the big cities of many countries all over Europe these days.
First District of Budapest was the first to join the erection of the symbol of the global solidarity movement.
The Municipality of Budavár would like everyone who passes Batthyány Square to think of those in whose honor the heart was set up: the health-care workers who are doing sacrificial work to curb the epidemic, the many, many thousands of people active in nursing and healing.
