This Sunday morning we got a call from my mother-in-law whether we are up to go for an outing.
She spotted something on Facebook about an old village and a lonely church which are now part of Hungarys Capital Budapest. Actually we ended 15 kilometers far away from the city centre in the middle of nowhere (Gercsepuszta) or at the very edge of Budapests border.
Solely in open farmlands one can find a church which originates from approx. 1212 and it is still in service but due to Corona measure for the time being closed for visits.
Thanks Grandma for teasing us into this little Sunday’s afternoon excursion
